Well. i ordered my 2nd gen 3sgte today. not a bad Christmas present.
i was thinking when it gets here i can start working on it.
i have a 2 stall heated garage.
i was thinking of inviting a few guys or who ever wants to come by.
help me with the swap. (i dont wanna make it sound like im needy)
i can mostlikly pull i off with the help of my dad.
but i know manny and maybe jeff wouldnt mind helping.
dan u can come to lol.
ill supply pizza, beer, soda w/e. anybody willing to help?
(all tools i have. air tools ect. engine lift ect. no problems there)
would really appreciate it. -john

john without at the MINUMUM a hood scoop, id HIGHLY reccomend not running with the top mount on.
your prolly AOLT better off even with the cheapo intercooler you have.
first think to do when that clip gets to your house:
rip off that HKS filter, they are the WORSE.
hehe gimme a call man!

the thing I noticed when I saw that pic yesterday John, is the location of the fuse box in the bay. Looks like it was moved or pushed over some. I am not an expert on 5th gens, but is that how it should be ?

started with the 5sfe at like 9 stopped at midnight.
got almost all the harness off
and all the turbo crap off.
just need to disconect the axels and ac lines and it should be ready to be pulled.
and the mounts ofcourse.

harness is off. ac lines done. heating done. power stearing done.
need axels off and and mounts.


Ps freon. burns.


hopefully tomorow i can get it out.
