Look what happens when you let Maico paint your car!

Okay I know I cant fool you guys. I was bored & playing on photoshop, Terzin1 inspired me to try & paint my celica orange haha.

Anyway my photoshop skills are equivalent to a maico paint job

teehee. Actually this is probably better than a maico paint job...why are they still in business???

maico did my car

oh right 800 bucks

hehe good attempt a photoshoping though
black is a hard color to change colors.
try selecting just the car with the selection tool,
then go to hue and saturation and mark off colorize.

its hard to select just my car when its black, it picks up any shadows around it as well *pain in the butt* i tried for a while & then said screw it & air brushed...my dad is always offering to give me photoshop lessons & I always turn him down cause....he is my dad & the way he teaches makes me fall asleep

So are you happy w/ your maico paint job???? all I every hear are complaints....sooo let me know

use the polygon lasso tool.
hot key (L)

isnt it just an awesome color! wow. like. im a def doing that.

OH NO!!! NOW EVERYONE IS DOING BURNT ORANGE!!!!!! I Cant be original anymore (sigh) By the way, the lasso tool is a piece of horsehockey compared to the masking tools.

u know, if i had the $ i'd go for the 2nd purple or pink. I think 90% of 6gc would get mad at me though. I didnt think id like it but iono it looks cute :-x

You wanna see some burnt orange paint jobs, come down to Austin, TX.... its like the new black. Everybody and their mom has a burnt orange paint job, and it looks amazing on every car...Id really like to paint my car a bronze color, i think it looks amazing, ever since i saw this '67 vette painted in bronze, and then i saw the engine bay (all accents and pipes in bronze) ive just been in love with it.

I am now a part of the ihavemorethen16gc club!
