hey i just bout a lip kit off of ebay( figures cross) my friends who have lip kits all say all you have to do is bolt the lip on and paint it . i was wondering if that was true or not. i hear people saying they need modifications, but what modifications do you need for something you bolt on? sorry if this question sounds stupid, im slowly learning ha. but thanks for your help

Depends on where u get the lip kit from. Seeing that u got it from e-bay, there's no guarantee that it'll fit without modification. I got mine from Erebuni and it was a perfect fit.

in "modding" the lip

you might need to
sand, cut and extend, fiberglass it to some degree
or you might just have to heat it up and flex it some
its never the same every kit is different....
