quick release - 6G Celicas Forums

I've got the veilside invader kit sitting in my garage waiting for my broke a** to put on, in import tuner the one with the yellow twin turb sup on the front, the guy installed quick release pins on the front bump, to be able to take off, when stuck in a sh*tty parking lot or loading on a flat bed. Just wondering has anyone tried this trick? There's so many friggn' speed bumps in my complex, or speed hills seems like, how phat would in be to pop that sh*t off and ever so carefully place in the back until I get clear. Cracking my front lip will be my biggest fear, but how can I accomplish such a feat, kimosobie?
that sounds like a pain in the arse...u shouldnt have TOO many problems with the invader kit...maybe u just move to a different area with better roads >biggrin.gif>

couldn't someone theoretically just walk away with your front bumper if you got those pins on it. hahaha >wink.gif>

but really the invader kit should be okay as long as you don't lower your car. just practice taking speedbumps at an angle and try to avoid any areas with excessive potholes.

that's basically the best way to go about it. Trust me, i've researched it >biggrin.gif>
NONO ALL THESE GUYS GOT IT WRONG

The plan is this......

Take off the stock bumper.
Duct tape the invader bumper on.
That way you can just peel the tape off and off comes the bumper! >tongue.gif> j/k

Actually, I agree with everybody else..
yeah, duct tape, man, I'm glad to finally solve the mystery, j/k, so's I'm guessin the front won't be too low to be able to take bumps from the sounds, good news, I surely won't do the release idea, but if I was, I'd put the pins or try anyway, under the hood where it fastens to the lip, yeah, that way they'd have to pop the hood, heach breaking into my rig! Maybe a idea for the guys dropped w/coilovers? I dunno just a thought!
ok all these guys here are jokers and there messing with you.

so let me tell you how it's done.

1. Go to walmart

2. Pick up three packs of velcro(Any less and it won't hold)

3. Peel and Stick then you'll be set.

if you got any questions like this one i'll be happy to answer them for ya.
