pretty much everyone who uses it swears by GM or pensoil syncromesh.

I used Mobil 1 synthetic 75W-90 and noticed no difference from whatever was in there before I bought the car. Im going to try Synchromesh this summer.

Half Pennzoil Synchromesh, Half 75-90 regular gear oil...

Synchromesh is very thin..the 75-90 help thicken it up alittle. I feel it provides more "shock" protection that way.

I don't think the brand so much matters as the viscoscity. Use synchromesh or a 75w90 oil

I thought about givin it a try when I changed my gear oil a couple weeks ago but they didn't have enough in stock and I had already put it off long enough
