Some of them actually work...it'd be interesting to see if this one does. On a highport SR20DE with I/H/E, cams, and underdrive pulleys, a throttle body spacer provided for a 9.1hp and 6.9lb/ft torque increase.

Edit: That was with the whole ThermoBlock kit, which includes not only a throttle body spacer, but also an intake manifold spacer and plenum spacer. So I'm not sure exactly how much of the increase is attributable to the throttle body spacer.
