Which the function of this part is?.

If it is under the driver's seat, It might be the secondary stereo amplifier. Do you have an 8 speaker stereo?

the amps are under the climate control in the dash not under the seat though, only thing that would be under the seat is the factory alarm and that is not it.

I wana say it looks like it has domething to do with the starter, the connector on it looks like the connector behind the key, for the ignition.

Does the car run fine, like normal, or does it not work.

best way to figure it out if no one knows for shure is to figure out what does not work in the car.

I thought if you had the 6 speaker, you had one amp under the climate control. If you had the 8 speaker, you had one under the seat, too?

I've 4 speakers Stereo, my car was working with this part wet, i take it out, i don't try to start again, until the car is complete dry. To prevent a Problem
^ good idea, not starting the car till it dryes out. Wile I cant be 100% sure I really dont think its an amp, maily because if it was an amp it would be in a metel case for heat distrobution, and the internals dont look like an amp, but then again it does not look like anything I have ever seen.
that looks like a shock sensor ... do you have an alram system in your car ? .... and if is is anything that has to do with starting your car it wouldn be under the driver seat.. to easy to get damaged under there ..
