for any engine swap you do for a 6 gen celica......would you have to use a used engine or do they have people who build brand new engines that are able to swap with the 6 gen celica? thanks

its all used.....sadly.....Get a beams, its the only thing near New quality!
You can buy engines currently in production brand new from Toyota. I looked into getting the 2gr for my MR2 project but it was over $10,000.

beams is a type of motor. Its the 3s-ge. It comes in 2 types. Red top, and Black Top. Both are rare, but black is much rarer. (if rarer is a word that is) Red top drops about 180hp depending on the generation u get. And black top drops about 210hp, again depending on the generation u get.
