I was on my way home from work yesterday...driving in a 40 doing the speed limit...when I changed lanes like I do every night except this time some car comes flying up behind me doing like 60...they flash their brights @ me (as if to say how dare you slow me down) and as soon as they got a chance they cut the car next to me off then zoomed up & cut me off...they almost frikin HIT my car thats how close they cut me off soooo in order to avoid getting hit by them i swerved a little & tapped my breaks (no one was behind me)....but the road was wet so I started sliding towards a couple cars in a turn lane. Luckily I gained control of the car but unfortunately I tapped one of the cars in the turn lane... the car that cut me off had to stop @ a red light right in front of me...I wish now that I got their plate #. I had a camera w/ me & I wish I took a picture of them but I was too freaked out about my car & the other car....!

Long story short...I pulled off the road w/ the car I "hit" ...get out of my car....no damage on their car...no damage on my car! *whew* It turns out that the only part of my car that touched theirs was my drivers side mirror. When it bumped their car it folded in (like its suppose to)

Anyway...I LOVE OUR FOLDING MIRRORS! And I feel very lucky nothing happened to either car

I wish those protected from assholes walking home drunk at night...

My driver's side mirror is all loose where some idiot tried to pull it off...

those damn drivers... next time you see them amy, you know wat to do glad your celi's alrite and folding mirror is a good thing. my friend's civic doesn't have that and everytime i will be thinking if that thing hits something. it's gone lol

ha...oh yah to the couple i dinged were around 50yrs old & drive an 89 pontiac something or other..maroon hoopty. It had a silver bumper w/ black rubber trim & the guy noticed a white scuff mark on the rubber part & said "oh maybe this is where u hit!" so i look at my black car & said hmm noo...my car isnt white lol

they were really nice though! i took pics of their car so they cant "make" damage later & blame it on me...gotta keep my butt safe!!! the wife saw my fingerless gloves & got all excited asking where I got them. She then said "see this is why this happened so that i could figure out where to buy my gloves!" ....riiiight hehe

Holy crap. Glad you're allright. I'd call it in even if you only have a desciption of the car. That a$$ hat probably does that all the time and one of these days is going to get screwed royally.

Glad you are okay and that couple made light of the whole situation. Sometimes the "damage" is so unnoticeable it is not even worth reporting...too much hassle, etc.
