razr came out like 2 years ago. and imo i think that phone sucks. breaks like how the siemens S40 use to... i have so many return razr that i have to return to t-mobile and motorola i wanna burn them all and get over with lol. well my phone is good lol... but depends on wat carrier you're using and how much ya wanna spend on a phone and if you're GSM or CDMA

I just got a Cingular Nokia 6102 and I am really happy with it. Great reception and it never drops calls where my old motorola v400 used to.
Its really all up to you. Go to ur cell phone provider & check out the phones available & see which you like best.....each person has different needs

k750i is awesome. so is w800i, w900i, my sharp 903sh.

Like Amy said, find out what u do and don't need. Not all carriers have the same model phone.
Personally, i have the Alltel, LG AX5000. It came out toward the end of last year. Great reception, a lot of features, and, so far, idiot proof. I've dropped the thing like 3 times(accidentally) on hard surfaces. Just a scratch!

I have a k700i I want a k750i I hate my k700i coz it's silver and I once dropped it scratches are visable.

oooh i hate scratches!!! but luckily my screen is scratch proof or something because i have nooo scratches on it! dont mean to go off topic but...apple should have made their ipods w/ whatever my cell phone screen is made of cause....ipods scratch like no tomorrow. u think something so expensive would be made to resist scratching!

Text and pictures but i ended up with a phone that sucks for pictures and you can only send to other sidekickers or to emails!
one of my fave phones before pic messaging was the MOtorola T720! older phone but a goody!

i have an SE S700i and i love it to death! i'll tell you one thing, once you go with Sony Ericsson theres no going back!
im a tech junkie so features are everything to me (connectivity, imaging, gaming, etc). but if you only need something mainly for talking and texting, go with Motorola or Nokia since they get really good reception.

My phone is sweet, The Kyocera Sonic Slider (no lowsy number code name on mine) Its an mp3 and video player, takes pics and videos, uses a Micro SD card (up to 1 gig I think, I have a 512 card in mine) all around great phone, plus you can get it with pay as you go so you only gata pay what time you use and not a cent more.
sorry to say it but prepaid completly sucks. Do the math and you pay as much monthly for prepaid as you do for a contract phone.

^ depends on how much time you use, I have 2 cells My kyocera, and my work cell (which I dont pay) so I use very little time on my personal phone, thus I got pay as you go where I can pay $20 every 3 months and be good.

I just put the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith on my phone so i can watch it when I'm barod, quality is suprising for a phone. also have the 2nd episode of Firefly on there, 5 music videos and like 100 mp3's I love my phone so cool.
