jersey inspection laws sucks...took me alot of cash and a few days of this guy working on my car to get me to pass inspection. apparently over here cars 96+ HAS to be hooked up to the OBDII port..and clearly my car is NOT OBDII. so this guy hooked me up by creating "dummy" sensors so that the diagnostic machine can read my car as running "ok". i dunno but i passed inspections legally...lol

good stuff.... theres always ways around inspections. now that you passed, get youself a nice 3in exhaust with no cats.

lol yah i plan too...but i might just go and grab a high flow cat...just because my town is REALLY strict on these things. i swear my town and the next few towns around here have ALOT of racers so the cops really get on our a$$es even if we arent part of the racing crowd...which im not and i still get harassed...

oh and btw the guy who did my inspection also recommend i go standalone since these things can be programmed to actually pass inspections...

I need to meet this guy. I need to have my car plugged into an OBDII computer to pass as well. You gotta explain this in more detail over a pm. Please PM me some details.

jeff i told u i can get it done for u, jus bring someone who has an obd2 and plug theres in while they scan ur car, thats all it is, so it gets all ur car information and thinks its ur engine and passes..

and bboy i kno urs is but these kids who grab the stickers from junkyards and bull **** like that are all gonna be screwed

Can I ask you where you heard/read this?

i work at this deli my dads friend owns, cops eat there breakfast/lunch, like every poughkeepsie cop, i talk to them all the time and stuff, and my friend got pulled over and the cop scanned his inspection so i asked the cop and he said thats a new policy with most cars..


AH i jus got pulled over with an expired reg. he said he was supposed to take my plates and tow my car... but he gave me a expired reg. ticket.. scared the **** outta me. i was like WTF why is this guy pulling me over..

Wow never new about any inspections. Don't have anything like that around here lol. New to me. But we don't have to pass any kinda inspections here in Nebraska lol.
