this is a single entry ct26 this is the turbo on my clip. i was thinking. the clip had an intake an bov and steeringwheel. lol. so maybe its a ct20b? or just an unbadged ct26... anyone?
Yeap, ct26's say TOYOTA CT26 on the side. CT20b's just say TOYOTA. That's about $800 you got for freeassuming it's in good shape, and there's a pretty noticable difference between the two... LUCKY!

iunno on the other boards i was told that the ct20b have 7 bolts on the rear and i only have 6 ct26. but they were like yeah ct20bs just say toyota. so. either its a ct26 with a ct20b cold side? or maybe its a super rare 1337 jdm ct20b. i keed i keed. so yeah. confused. so im leaning towards plain old jdm ceramic ct26
I have no direct knowledge here but everything I have read has indicated the stud pattern is the key.
QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
Pressure2: Thats a modded ct20b turbine wheel though..why is the wheel nut grinded down smooth with the wheel? Never seen that before. As far as i know CT20b's have 7 stud exhaust housings. Also look at the part number on the housing... CT26 says 74030 and CT20b says 74040 .

sorry bro thats a ct-26, the ct-20, really got your hopes up huh..the ct-26 has a smaller snail shell turbine..the ct-20 has a bigger one...did you get the wrc st185 clip or motor.. cause the turbo on it doesn't have the ct-26. the st-205 turbo is the ct-20 turbo it doesn't have it either . but the wrc s-185 turbo doesnt either but it does have forge piston and other stuff...
