driving back home today got a strange knocking coming from the drivers side back wheel only does it when going forward and on each full reveloution of the wheel any ideas anyone

jack rear up, shake rear wheel, if it wobbles its the bearing, if not, check rotors, calipers, brakes, tires.
seems to be coming from the hand brake when driving if i use foot bake still knocking but if i put hand brake on a little it stops ?
could be warped rotors, when you brake does it pull to one side?
no doesnt pull under braking, doesnt knock all the time but loud when it does
jacked it up spun the wheel spins free for a while then goes stiff on each turn of the wheel then frees up again strange think im going to have to strip it all the way and have a look cheers dave

This could just be a loose pad. I had this. When you break, it will go "thunk." Just put spacers in on the sides of the brake pads. It's not overly common, but it still happens a good bit.

sorted now but thanxs for all ur help,jacked the car up spun the wheel noise was coming from the floating handbrake so now all quiet and drives like adream cheers again dave

My car is doing that right now. I tighten the caliper as tight as I could then I rebled the system to make sure there was no air. But whenever I hit my brakes at low speeds the rear brakes make a loud clasping noise. where do I get these spacers from. and the pressure from the piston won't warp them?

i noticed my akebono pads are too small, even spacers cant save em, exchanged them for a different part number hoping they gonna fit this time.

Well I said I tightened my caliper pin because on my rear driver side brake I have the caliper pin tighened all the way but when I grab the caliper I can move it up and down a little, where as the other calipers on the car don't budge.
