I turn it over and it dies sometimes mostly in the morning. I found a crack in the grommet that holds the PCV in place could this be causeing it?

have u done a tune up? my bet is that ur problem is ur fuel pump. but it could be something as simple as a diein battery. good luck

That could be the problem, use some magnum steel and try to seal it up. If it doesn't work, it might be the fuel pump. I face that everyday on cold mornings and later.
I had that issue and it appeared to be bad vacum switch valve.
when you say the car dies, does it start up right away?

do you have an auto or manual tranny??

if you have an manual tranny does the car cut out when you release the clutch in cold weather? is you shifter "sticky"? if so, you need to change your gear oil. the oil may be really thick due to the cold weather.

give us more details on how and when the car "dies".
No, I can still have the clutch in and It will still die. I have to rev it up and hold it for a second in order for it not to die....

either that crack in the grommet holding the PCV or IAC
