i've notices a leak thats been happening for couple months, i thought it was nothing but now i know its oil and its coming out just under where the dip stick is. Is this usalual??

i told my mate he says it could be the copper ring thats broken, or the last person whos done the oil change hasnt tighted it good enough. thanks

i have/had the same problem ...it has happened twice to me... an it is only when i take my car in to get an oil change when i'm in a rush an don't have time to do it my self... if my drain plug it over torqued oil leaks out ..

yeah...i just recently bought my car as well and i am having some oil leaks, especially on long drives because i commute back and forth to school (good 45 min drive), and it seems to come out from the top engine bay leaking down to the oil pan....but not sure exactly where it's coming from. lots on the passenger side near the tire. I just changed the valve gaskets, so i know it can't be valve gasket....can anybody help? [it's not the cv boots either]

chacha could you do me a favor and tell me what your batt is in your car? 055 35amh?? or bigger. im having batt trouble too.

i too got an oil leak problem and it sound kind of like chacha's and its not the power steering as the shop i took it to thought and tightned all the ose of the p-steering.. this weekend im gonna get my car up clean all the sludge and oil under, try to find it when i do ill tell u guys maybe the same thing

i had that for about 5 months on my 1.8. It finally clogged it self but it is leaking from the valve gasket. At least thats where mine was at on the passenger side.

I had the same oil leak problem. I was frustated seeing every morning that oily mess on my driveway. I got several quotes from auto repair shops to fix the leak but they were so high that I could not afford it..
I solved the problem installing a cheap Car Diaper. If you write to my e-mail: julimar@tampabay.rr.com I gladly will tell you were to buy a Car Diaper. I have one installed in my Toyota 93 more than 7 months ago and now I am happy.. no more dirty mess in my driveway nor on my friends driveway.
