Oil pressure on 7AFE - 6G Celicas Forums
If it's a stainless braided -3 AN line, then it will be fine. They're made for high temp, high pressure applications.

if your making it yourself, you need to buy a preset amount, and cut it to length.
www.ATPTURBO.com can make the line for you if you dont wanna make it yourself.

sorry for to bring this thread back alive since nearly 1 yr.not sure what am i asking issit revelant to this topic.
dont majority of the 7afe shld have about the same reading of oil press? i do know weather temp play apart. What other factor could cause the oil press goes abnormal high?
i've my turbo replaced twice in yr 2006 alone and my mech was suspecting my oil press too high for turbo to handle. im using rhb52, 10-40w semi-syn oil.

it seems like everyone who turbos the 7a has the problem of overfeeding the turbo.
most everyone who does it now includes the restrictor inline with the feed line.

I've had to rebuild my turbo every year and it's getting close to time to do it again. It smokes sometimes and always stinks of burnt oil.

jeeze guys, its a KNOW ISSUE that the 7afe has high oil pressure and you need a restrictor on the oil feed line. its just a brass piece that has a small hole in the middle of it, it stops too much oil from getting to the turbo.
