Headlights - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #33218 13 posts Started by blu94gt
I was wondering about this, ever since I've owned 6gc's I've wanted a way to have all four headlights on at night to make it more distinguished, then have another high beam like a driving light or something for when you need high beams. Is there a way of changing bulbs, aiming the highs down, etc that would make this work? I realized there would be other wiring too to make them come on with the lows but that's easily do-able.

Sound feasible?

*EDIT* Or would the reflection design inside the high beam just be too bright for this kind of use?

that would look pretty sweet at night. i've thought about that too. if its do-able, i'd even put some angel eyes while i'm at it.

you would need to add a little cover to he light bulb..

see how the normal light has a big reflective cover over the bulb, where as the high beam, you can see the bulb directly.

you would need to get special bulbs and add a cover that will only reflect light to the lower half of the high beam reflector. I'm sure you would need to alter the reflector to aim it lower. Maybe you can get away with using a lower wattage bulb and not blind poeple as badly?
do some angel eyes check my pix out.

Change the light assembly which you want to have highbeam, to an H4 globe. Which will mean custom mounts - but then you will have lowbeams and highbeams in the one smile.gif

Hey you had them hooked up to your turn sigs? wouldn't they blink then when you turned your signal on to turn? or did you mean to say your side markers? But they look really good. Been wanting to get some in my highs. (scared to mess with JDM highs)
