Ok i have always felt that V-day (feb 14th) is the most BS day of the year... my girl already knows how i feel about this day and she isn't going to get anything for that day ...

i feel if you really love someone you don't need a day to show them how much you love and care about them... espically a day where everyone else is doing the same thing.. it makes that act of showing how much you car less special cause everyone else is doing something on that day too ....

does anyone else feel like this ??



p.s. i'm not a total ass with the gf.. her b-day is the 15th and she is getting something really special from me ..

ok, well i started this post 6 diff ways already, keep backspaceing what i want to say. I like that there is a day dedicated to people who are in love although i have never had a date for v-day. I think that after a wile like in a long term relationship it would get kinda old.

I like the idea of it but there is no real relevance to it, other then an escuse to share a special night toghether.

V-day is a load of BS. I believe in togetherness and everything, but it's just a made up holiday to try to make us all by something. I feel the same about Christmas. My grandpa tells me stories about how Christams use to be back when he was little. There wasn't a mad dash to buy everyone presents. People just got together and had a nice little meal. It was just an excuse to get together with your family. That's it. Valintines day was named after St. Valintine, who was a monk. Therefore he was most likely selibent. It's just a day of love, no need to go all out with the presents. Some one, some were is just making money and having a nice little laugh at our expence.

I kinda feel the same way. I just don't like the day at all. it makes people who are single or who have just broken up feel like ass and the ppl who aren't single waste money and its just an excuse to make babies

i think its a cute holiday, but its my least favourite just becayse i never get to celebrate it... like cmon.. what would christmas be like if you never got to have dinner and presents and family over... oh i can't even bear to think about it~!!!!

VD is not a big deal. I hate people that expect a huge deal out of it. I believe it is far more romantic to completly surprise someone on a day that has no meaning.

Nothing goes over better than flowers on a random day.

Well V-day for me is also my girlfriends birthday. So I pretty much have to step it up lol. Thing is I get her flowers and stuff like that atleast once a month so v-day isnt anything too special.
