Any of you men care to tell me what you would like to get for Valentine's day? I'm looking for something romantic.. but not too cheesy. I don't know, I need help.

Jen since you are starting over why dont you do something to remind him of the beginning of your relationship? Go to dinner at a resturant you went to a long time ago. Or you could even show him you care by making dinner and having dinner at home and decorate for valentines day. Thats what i did for my ex one Valentines I cooked for him decorated the whole house made chocolate covered strawberries and gave him a nice shirt and cologne and this cute coupon book that was hand made that had coupons for things like "one free masage from me" silly things like that. but since you guys are starting over i would suggest doing something together that will bring you guys closer. Thats why a gift like a video game doesnt really work, thats something that pushes you away from him. Am i making any sense? lol.

I duno what Im gettin for my bf... Prolly nothin huge since we've only been together like a month now... Meh... if it was on a weekend I'd just wanna be with him for the night and stay at his appartment, maybe get drunk and just hang out and watcha movie...

I think Valentine's Day is kinda stupid now that I think about it. I duno... when you plan romance it just doesnt seem to work out... Ya know what I mean? Romance needs to be a surprise, not a planned event... So screw that... I dont want someone giving me flowers just because its Valentine's Day... I dunno it just sorta doesnt have the same feeling you would have if you got flowers outa surprise...

My ex bf, who I was with for like a year, we planned to have a great Valentine's Day, just hang out, all that romantic s**t... Yeah we ended up getting in a huge fight cuz everything went wrong and we werent happy... Gah damn... IN fact now that I think about it, every time we planed something, it coulda been anything, it alwasy wound up in hell cuz soemthing would go wrong... Meh...

I dunno... Maybe for my bf... Since we've been together for like a month I'll make some goofy lil card and tell him how happy I am with him... I dunno... I'll think up something

But one thing I know all guys love is food! I've heard you cant go wrong with that...

Funny how life works, I'm a romantic guy who kinda liks cheazzy things from a girl yet I cant get a girlfriend to save my life, yet guys who hate that stuff and think its crap have no problem. life never works the way you want it too i guess.

anyway, if your starting over, a nice quite home dinner would be the best just a table set for 2 and some candels etc, (can dress up if you want to) I think that would be nice, just avoid any conv relatered to the break up and it should be fine.
