I would tend to agree with you with exception to one thing. If you're going to have a wheel with spoke spacing that wide, to look good you NEED to have more brake rotor filling it in. Your pic is a classic example. Looks good, but unfinished. Not trying to bash, just throw a point out there.

17x8 Motegi LC5 16lbs each, teflon coated flat bronze. nice, light, and relatively inexpensive.

I am in the market for a set of rims too... I agree with the comments about needing 5 spoke too...

i went with focals... bought them cheap from a guy... but i love how they turned out... I think if i add the fenders with slits it will look even better.. :-)

i like the mille miglia HT3 (sp) in the hypercarbon color..(appears like a polished black)

its 5x100 bolt pattern, 35mm offset, with a choice of 7" or 8" tire.....

getting a set for spring, and some TRD lowring springs.

Mille Miglia are top of the line Italian rims you can get off Tirerack.com (although I think many of them are on special price). I've had my set on the Celica in my profile for 6 years, and they still sparkle!

and celicast- i like yer rims. do they come in any other color besides silver? liiike black, or hyper black, orrr anthracite perhaps? hehe

nope, only powder-coat silver, but defgeph has them painted gold, looks nice.

I think that his car with the gold wheels looks sick as hell. IMO -John
