well I'm not by any means the best at it but i have done java scripting, what ya need? if you need help now, you got like 2 min before i gata get to bed.

coomer is probalby gana be the best at helping you, I stick to other languages as java is kinda, well nm....

^ lol that a joke. kinda but not enough yet, i need to study VB is more utilitarian i think, but can do some cool stuff. I use vb script with my .asp crap but its been a wile since I was working with it.

I have a VB program that needed a component out of Service Pack 3, but I had the demo version, so I went onto one of the computers at school and jacked the file I needed (MCI32.OCX if interested) and now I can see the code for my form, but I can't get to the graphical side of it. It runs fine and all, but if I click to go to graphics I get a fatal error and it closes. Too bad you aren't a VB genius, because then you could fix it for me and the balance would be restored..

lol easy fix, if you can get the one file off the school computer, why not take the whole thing? I have the "working model edition" lest you do/write anything but thats about it, no exportation or importation. I dont wana buy/get the full one till i'm good enough to use it.

Legal note: I'm just ansering your questions, not telling you to go jack the full copy.

My teacher already gave me the full copy of Visual Studios SP6 to see if that would fix the situation, but nay nay, no fix to be found..

sounds like if uninstalling it fully, and reinstalling it fully does not work, then its a compatiblility issue. cant think of any other reason it would crash. does not really take a VB genious just takes a guess and check approch.

I'm always willing to help out with computers but dont think I'm some genius at it, the more you learn about computer the more you realize that you know nothing.

And the more you use a computer the more you realize it only does what you tell it, so if something gets screwed up (like my 8 week VB program) it isn't the computer's fault, but your own. But hey, as long as there are stupid people, there will be computer nerds. Go Team Nerds!
