Planning on painting my valve cover black. Has anyone done it? I want to see what it would look like before i do it. Also any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

black with green letters. i touched it up a lot after this, smoothed out the letters, fixed that missing chunk, took off the water spots. i havent installed this yet so i dont know how it will work out. but i baked it at 500 degrees for 5 minutes and you're lookin at how it came out.

hmmm.... the red and the blue ones look nice too. don't know what color i want anymore.... keep them comming if anyone has more pictures
well, best thing to do is play off the colour or clours of ur car..my car is red with black interior with red highlights. so every thing in my car is red and black through out the car..red n black sparcos, red lights, red dash peices, when i get my rims they r either gonna b flat bronze..cuz i like em..or im gettin them painted red and black.
i like manny's approach .... a picture is worth 1000 words ...
