QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
i wouldnt buy the 2nd one because it looks like it has been modified before with an aftermarket looking section of intercooler piping, and i wouldnt want to mess with something that some1 else might have messed up
both of those are mr2 engines.
if your planning on doing the swap yourself, i'd really recommend a clip, like always.
if your planning on having tweek do it, he can do it with a complete or sometimes no so complete swap set, im sure.
but, your much better off starting with a celica setup with whatever your doing, it'll make the swap ALOT easier.
now, if you were just replacing a motor, thats a diffrent story cause then you could swap all the stuff from the celica 3s to the mr2..

fair enought. just keep in mind that if you dont take the time to learn about anything, it will be a major problem for you in the end. you cant just see something on ebay and jump on it. first you posted about that half assed "complete" turbo kit, and now these junk yard mr2 motors with TONS of missing parts.

edit:
whats the deal with the post deleting?

I'm not jumping on anything. Just asking questions, Im caught up between turboing the 5 or doing the swap.
I know its a learning experience, and I need to learn it. I feel I have the skills to do it, but I'm short on the knowledge. I'm learning though.
I decided I'm just stealing Lago's motor wink.gif
