Well..., I have bittock experience from it wink.gif. I tried three colors: blue, red and white.

blue: looks great, but illumination intensity... nothing especial kindasad.gif
red: illumination much better than blue (have been using it two month)
white: because of longing for change wink.gif I tried "cool-blue" bulbs (30% more light, white color) and modified gauges to make them shine two colored (see here)...
Now, that's my favorite (for a while biggrin.gif)

they had been out partying too much the night before biggrin.gif jk

so what color combo did u decide on???
Well I suggested that he goes with one.
Since he used the blue ones for the parkers,
that only leaves him with 2 green and 2 white.

where exactly is the parking light?
Parkers are the light that comes on first
when you turn the headlight knob.
Its the little light bulb in the low beam headlights.

i tried adding the brigher bulbs to my headlights but they kept burnign out the sockets! toyota told me i needed a new harness 1200 bucks! how can you run the brigher bulbs without worrying about burning out anything?

ahh how bright did u go to burn out the socket? my bulbs is only 4750k, and i've notice its fading off a lil use to be real blue but the good thing is it reach to a certain point and stop fading now.. i think a good bulb for our celica without doing a HID mod is 4500k.. just my guess

I like what you did...I put in a bluish white bulb in my liscense plate thing. and then i have Red blue red for my bulbs, but since i have the indiglo guages, all the red blue red is used for are the needles and then the spedometer.

Do all cars have the parking lights? I turn mine one notch, and only the turnsignals and sidemarkers come on...

I am now a part of the ihavemorethen16gc club!

Nope. Europe has parking lights but not sidemarkers. It is a problem, in the UK ignorant people drive in low light conditions with only their parking lights on (the problem is made worse by the UK common name for parking lights being sidelights).

Parking lights aren't bright enough to provide visibility of a moving car in low light conditions. Several european countries have mandated or encouraged the use of US-style dim-dip or daytime running lights to combat the problem.

True. Parking lights are 5W bulb but low beams are 55W. All of you may count how much lower they can bright in the night...
