Those achieva supreme's are monsters off the line.
3SGTE swapped Celicas are pretty damn fast. Bottom line.
I know Bboy had some street racing action and reported no losses....and im confident that the swap can outrun just about any stock GST-GSX eclipse, WRX, Mustang GT's, Camaros (except maybe an SS), S2000 and just about any other stock Honda you can throw at it, a close run against an EVO, etc.....it could definately hold its own against alot of quick cars based on 1/4 mile figures and my own seat-of-the-pants evaluation.
However, that all totally depends on the driver. You get a bad driver behind the wheel of a fast car and a great driver behind the wheel of a slower car, you can be suprised as to what might unfold.
Anybody have some good kill stories I don't know about??

this is true. in my 7afte set up running 12 psi i beat a evo
i live in NJ and i think we are the only state left with circles and were i live theirs a ton, i was on my way home from my Girl friends one night and i was coming around a circle and an evo pulled up next to me so i was like, ok lets see what this thing could do, i was expecting to get my A$$ handed to me because i saw he had an after market front mount and exhaust. right after the circle is a small bridge that goes up hill, so i flored it and because my cars an auto it dropped down to second i guess and flew over the hill doin like 50-60, i guess he didnt down shift fast enuf or didnt go in to a low enuf gear so i ended up passing him over the bridge and carried the momentum down the hill i hit about 80MPH and he was about 2 car lenghts behind me the hole time the the road went back to one lane and i kept flooring it and he couldnt keep up. he must have been a horrible driver.

i have a recent loss against a turboed mustang...quick as hell...lol
i've beaten wrxs, rsxs, s2000, audi TT, srt4, non-turbo mustangs on 20-25mph rolling starts and some others not worth mentioning. b4 anyone says anything...i only do races with friends in CONTROLLED situations.

thats pretty sweet BBoy. can't wait to do the swap on my celica!!!i'm starting soon, just waiting on intercoolser kit, and clutch kit. the 5sfe engine has surprised me, took on a vtec 97 prelude, took him. For 130hp the celica is fast

yeah basically what evryone else said,.........wrx's evos mustangs any stock honda motor swapped honda and eclipses got nothing on you, a friend of mine can spank them all day and night............but he has an mr2 now so i wonder where the fwd setup will go????????

thats a cool video jeff. you can tell you got an almost perfect launch with very little tire sping.
he is an oldie but goodie of what a swaped car can do, when you dont get a good launch
