Alright...I can't decide between 17 or 18'' wheels its driving me crazy. First off, what are the pros/cons between 17&18's, which is more realistic and subtle or doesn't make a difference? Help please....Thanks alot! >

i would go with 17's personally. 18's look too big on a celica imo. plus with an 18 inch wheel you will need to have a tire around the size 225/35/18 in order to keep it from rubbing and keep your speedo close to what it should be reading. 35 series tires are very easy to blow out also a friend of mine had 18's with a 35 series tire on his accord and he got rid of them because he couldnt afford to keep getting tires. if the raods aroung you arent too sh***y the you might be good with the 18's but i think 17's would look better and be more practical. this is just my input so what ever you like go with it's your car.
if you got a bodykit I would definetly opt for the 18s. otherwise its not worth the a) increased danger of damaging the rim b) the additional rotational mass thereby making our underpowered cars even slower.
just get light 18's if you go that route. i got the new tenzor apex-5's and i cant really tell a difference between those and my old 15's. plus they look better. >

18s look better IMO. The price between the two isn't that much. I've had 17s and 18s and you have to be careful either way so get what you like. But if the roads are really bad where you live you should just stay with 17s and get a coil-over kit to lower your car. It will give you the same look. I don't regert getting my 18s I'm happy with the way the car looks.
