Rotor Discs are direct replacement for original discs without any modification.
Enhanced cooling due to the Rotor Disc design encouraging air flow through the disc.
The Rotor Disc design also reduces the weight of the discs making them the lightest direct replacement discs on the market reducing the weight by approx 10%.Reducing unsprung rotational weight which in turn improves acceleration and reduces Gyroscopic effect improving handling.(The same idea behind Alloy and Magnesium Wheels). Example: Audi TT a saving of 1.36kg on the front discs alone.
16 grooves giving increased friction improving stopping power and allowing hot gasses to escape whilst stopping the disc and pads from glazing over, keeping stopping power throughout the life of the discs.
Unichrome Zinc plated to help prevent rust on upswept surface.
Rotor Discs have been designed to be gentle on pads whilst maintaining stopping power.

lol, wile break disks are not light shaving a little around the edge is not gana make any noticable diifferance. I gata say thoes are very stupid, and I doubt that they would be any differant stop wise then regular pads, actualy if there OEM replacement then the break pads would slide over the swoops meaning less surface area = less stopping power.

I got them on my motorcycle. Anything lighter, discs, wheels, etc is going to make a notoceable difference.
These are just the beginning, I'm sure there are more to follow in the future.

well yeah but on a bike taking 10% off the disks is taking a much bigger persentage of the overall weight off the bike, on a car the disks are such a small amount compared to the total weight that even if there 10% lighter 10% total of all disk weight loss (if each disk is 10% lighter,) there is no were near enough to fell, it would be maybe 5 lbs your better off going on a diet or takeing the deck out to lose car weight. and atleast that would not be causing less break surface area.

the more unsprung weight you can remove the better, it makes a much more noticable difference than say removing your trunk liner or the rear bench... however still, id like to see these weighed side by side with a standard rotor... honestly i dont think the weight difference would be enough to pursuade me to make my car look retarded.

i don't think its totally about weight savings either...
gained cooling performance and other things would factor in more i suppose

i'm with creis though, the surface area that the pads contact is what's being taken away, this would have been kewler if they could vent closer to the axle, but there's where the stress is. This also makes me curious about how the pads would wear
