Last I knew, on ramps were for accelerating so that you can merge. Did I miss a chapter in my drivers handbook that says otherwise?

Any other pet peeves pertaining to traffic?

people that go past you on the shoulder when you are in a traffic jam and then try to nudge their nose in

fat girls in small cars that eat when they drive

Soccer moms that have the minivan and the soccer ball logo but never pay attention to the rules of the road

These are some things that make me want to get a gun.

I love toying with tail gaters. Just slow down and flip on your turn signal but don't change lanes until they start to. The satisfaction I get from that pretty much evens out the rage caused by tail gaiting.

What's a traffic jam? LOL sorry, our highway system has actually grown with the population unlike a lot of other cities.

when the speed limit is x and people STAY in fast lane going x or x+2.... Then I come up behind them and have to get in the slow lane to go around (i know it's illegal) because they will NOT move over.... Semi drivers who see a line of cars coming up and then try to pass a semi going MAYBE one mpg faster and it takes like 400 years for them to pass

Oh man that one gets me, people go like 40 till they mirge onto the freeway, I mob up the ramp. one place its totaly legal to accelerate quickly.

People in mini vans or large passenger cars passing me at 80+ with there kids in the back. I dont care if they wana speed but think of you damn kids lives for a change.

the guy I use to carpool with was one of thoes, speed by the long line of cars waiting for the offramp and slide in at the last possible min, its people like that, that cause the line up because then everyone else has to hit the breaks and wait.

eh, I have done that a few times, if im in a high cop area I'll slow down and be right on the limit and people will come up behind me and tail gate for a while, technicly its not iligal if your going the speed limit, and not blocking 5 or more cars.

i hate when you are on the freeway in the slow lane going around the speed limit and have so slow down because some idiot only accelerated to 40 on the on ramp

and i hate when people speed up, cut you off, and then slow down either because they are going to turn or because they are just pricks. if you cut someone off you need to make sure that you are going to at least go faster than them

this doesnt pertain to highways.. but.. people who pull out in front of you and go like 15 mph.. so you have to slam on the brakes to slow down.

i think congress should start looking into the accidents relating to older people to teenagers. i mean yes, i admit im not even a good driver but i've seen old people that are just TERRIBLE. alot of them too, i hardly see a terrible teen driver, atleast we can see 10 feet infront of us :-/

State troopers are always so mean to me. And I'm so nice to themmmm! I don't get it. The local police here are always really nice, at least the ones who have pulled me over. State troopers always seem to be in a really grumpy mood. And they try to get you for everything like.. a $90 "modified exhaust" ticket. If I was a cop I'd be nice. Just because you have authority doesn't give them the right to be mean. :\

All 3 of my tickets have been from state troopers! Cept one which was a "fix it ticket" from the local police.

I don't like people in a hurry. Take your time with your drive. When people start jumping in and out of traffic, they're just asking for trouble. Sometimes my friends yell at me and tell me, "You could have went, why didn't you go?" I've never had a wreck, and they all have. I hope to never even be envolved in a wreck, unless on the track. I don't want to be in a wreck on the track, I just think that's okay. Oh, and people who don't follow regulation traffic laws. I'm really particular about the law. lol, this coming from a guy without a catilatic converter.

--I hate people who slam on their BRAKES to find a spot in another lane
--I hate slow people
--I hate Old people
--I hate the soccer mom SUV's packed full of kids doing 100 in the carpool lane
--I hate (some) women drivers
--I hate Tailgaters
--I hate the person who changes lanes across THE WHOLE FREEWAY AT ONCE
--I hate people who talk on their phones and don't look when changing lanes
--I hate the guy who tries to merge ONTO your car, and when you brake and throw a fit, he deems it an appropriate time to flip you off, like you are somehow inconveniencing him

Drivers that speed past you, cut you off & take the same exit your taking & when you look in ur rear view mirror NO OTHER CaRS are around & your like WTF mate why not just get behind me mother trucker!!!?

Has anyone ever noticed that the slow drivers are usually picking their nose? hahaha I saw a guy once using a Q-tip!!..He had it JAMMED up in there pretty good....

ooooh I thought of another....it pisses me off when people dont use their blinkers. And I hate when someone is turning & they dont use their blinker till 1/2 way into the turn...

And I hate when you have to wait for someone to cross the street & they are walking slower than a frikin sloth. I dunno about you guys but when I am crossing the street & I see cars waiting on me...I hurry it up for them! lol

Yes I hate male drivers, but I hate women drivers for their stereotypical mistakes.

i.e not watching the road, messing with radio, talking on the phone, not looking at the lanes around them when they want to make a lane change, ect. (Not saying guys don't do this either, but I see more women F*cking up with it than guys)

ok, for you guys thinking your area has the worst drivers, anyone who has been to I-95 and Miami knows the worst drivers in the USA are in South Florida. This is just one picture of everyday driving habits, this was not rush hour, traffic just slowed down for about 20 seconds (literally) and you hear honking and people driving off-road, yes, off-road through the grass, instead of waiting 20 seconds for the off-ramp.

Yup that one gets me too, its like the whole point of a blinker is to tell other people your going to move, waiting till your 1/2 way though the lane is just being an airhead.

im going to have to agree that i hate a good majority of women drivers. Amy and one other girl are the only girls I know who actually know how to drive!

Im also not a fan of when im mobbing in the fast lane and end up behidn someone slow and they dont move. I constantly check my rearview mirror so i can get out of peoples ways who are doing that!

ok i gotta add to this. This morning I was driving behind a blonde lady in a mustang and i noticed she was swerving all over the road, she almost hit the guardrail twice, so naturally i kept my distance. When i got closer to her at a stop light i saw the cause of all the swerving, she was doing her make up and hair, i think she was on the phone too. I hear about women doing make up while they drive, but i have never actually witnessed it. What a moron. I mean yeah i will put lip gloss on at a stop light, but thats a stop light. This woman had both hands in her hair putting it in a bun as she was driving.

At least the women here can understand. I won't generalize and say all women, cuz you girls here can understand and obviously arent like the majority....but you see everything when you live in New Jersey and drive Route 80 every day in and out of rush hour traffic.

Apparently applying make-up WHILE using a headset on your phone or reading the newspaper while driving are both legal (yes you heard me right, I've seen both this year...) but if I accidentally do 10 over on a back road with a clean driving record, I get pulled over.

Now the state troopers in Jersey are getting really bad. It's almost like the cops multiplied overnight where I live.....yesterday morning I saw three cars pulled over in the morning on my way to classes, and then four pulled over in the evening. Where were they about 2-4 years back when you could get away with almost anything, including triple digit speeds??

I dont get it.

Women are naturally as smart as men. They are only slightly lacking in cordination. But they do lack in strength. But the fact that women are as smart as men irritates me. Women at stupid all the time, and they don't give themselves credit for what they can do. I have no clue why women seem to drive so much worse than guys do. I consintrate a lot on suggestive thoughts. So, I say that women are told they are going to be ditsy, and not be able to drive as well as a man, so they don't. This is why I have a general dissapointment with women.

other drivers who cut you off. throw a fit cause you honk at them and want to rumble but then realize they are messing with a 300+ pnd 6'6 guy. ass holes like that get my blood boiling but they never lay a finger on me. kinda disappointing its like blue balls but with road rage

-people who are so fat they cant look over there shoulders
-idiots in stock cars racing on the freeway
-old people in general
