Looks like B.S. to me... they don't even cite any sources; that makes me highly suspect.

The "affordable" version is around $40,000? It better start at a price a helluva lot lower than that if it hopes to sell.
i think that's one of the better-looking supra rumors i've seen yet.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
its not bad, i like the supra from the back, but the front = 350z

i hope at least some of its true. I would love the Toyota or Lexus option, jsut like Nissan has the 350z or g35 option. The price tag is far off too. If its going to compete with the 350z, they cant price it $10K over.

Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it...
it looks like someone photochoped a 350z into that, but it looks pretty nice

Go leafs go
wow thats pretty sexy...only if i won the lottery tho...lol

bboy

..(formerly daily driven) 3S-GTE powered celica currently set @ 12psi..
that looks pretty good... hope they make it into a bad ass car so that the old supra prices might drop a little.

oooo i like it

Buy my Celica $2,500 -http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0
Well, the engine options are those used and will be used in the Lexus IS lineup. The platform will probably be the same as from the IS as well. So that makes it all very promising. Then you have the other Japanese companies coming out with supercars while Toyota has yet to bring something out. Everyone knows Toyota has been working on something. So what they have in the article looks like something that'll either come out into production or give us a hint of what Toyota is bringing out. Makes sense to me.
i dont know if that is what the supra will look like but the factory i work for makes main bearings for toyota and we know the supra will be ready for production by october 2007, wink.gif but they are not sure they will send it to the states for sales kindasad.gif
hmmmmm this looks promising, i was thinking about trading in my 350z when the gt-r comes out but i might just change my mind for the supra...and that IS500 i hope that comes out too

well whe supras firs came out the TT version was $50+, so $40k sounds reasonable to me

I doubt toyota would compete with the z series again, I would suspect there going after the vettes

i think if anything it would make it more of a collectable (more than it is already) and prices could go up

lol, what are you doin on CL? tongue.gif
Guys, Supra talk is all rumor and speculation. I say this, believe nothing until you are standing in front of one at an auto show. There is no solid proof that Toyota even wants to make plans for sports cars. Just keep that in mind.
