Im very sure this has been discussed before probly many times, but i couldnt find what i was looking for, and wanted to know the power difference between a GOOD turboed 5s like manny's or shin's (with a ct-26) and a 3sgte swap? Is it a real big difference??

the big difference is manny drives around wondering WHEN his engine is going to blow, while 3sgter's have the pride of knowing that their motor is supposed to be turboed.

you should probably ask Itchy since he had a 5sfTe and just swaped to a 3sgte.

something else to keep in mind. any 5sfTe, is doing all it can and being pushed to the max... with good results. on the other hand, a 3sgte will give you great power and torqe with lots of room to grow. there are many turbo kit options for it that would take you FAR beyond anything you can get with a 5sfe motor.

um. so far the driving ive done with the 3s blows my 5sfte out of the water.
