er.. ok sorry if this is kinda confusing/stupid what i'm trying to ask, but i've never bought wheels/tires online or separately before... usually i get everything installed at once at local places...

i was looking at a site and they said that if you buy tires + wheels together you get:

-the mount and computer wheel balance of the tires
-an installation kit which includes wheel nuts (or bolts), valve stems (installed with tires), and hub centering rings (when necessary and available).

they say if u just buy wheels or tires, u could pay extra for their installation kit...

they said the installation kit can be saving of up to $200... are those 3 items really worth up to $200??

ok, so i'm assuming the wheel nuts they include i could just get them at toyota... i need like.. 20 of them right?
valve stem... er... is it that thing that sticks out that u pump air into? so are they saying i have to put that into the tire?

and do i actually need the hub centering thing? i have no clue what it is... is it the same as the center cap that some wheels come with?

you really only need valve stems and the hub centering rims. you already have the lug nuts but you could always buy another set if you'd like. mounting and balancing should cost you around 40-50 bucks i believe.

if i were you, id go for a package and let them do all the work for you. i know tire rack and discount tire direct dont charge for mounting and balancing when you buy a wheel/tire package so you would be saving money.

all in all, go for the wheel/tire package

if i buy separately would the valve stems come with the wheels or tires? or would i have to get them separately?

also, what is the hub centering ring? is that different than the center cap some wheels come with?

The Hub centering ring is a thick plastic ring that locks into the rims, in the exact center. It fits the aftermarket rim on the hub perfect, exactly as stock rims would. The benefits are greater stability, especially at higher speed, and better tire wear.

na, center cap is totally different. the center cap just covers the hub so you dont see the cotter pin. its really just for looks. im sure the valve stems and the hub centering rings are sold seperately. a tire mounting/balancinng place (such as pep boys or you local mechanic) should be able to install the valve stems for you but im not sure about the hub centering rims.

I don't know if there is any differece between Canada and CZ , but this is my solution. I suppose that you have same standard rims as I have -> 100x5/54.:

So If you buy rims 100x5/65 you will need hub centering rings to make your rims to standard (54) -> hub centering rings are necessary buy with rims.

Nuts you can buy anywhere (it's up to you buy some special ($90) or common ($40)) -> nuts are your choice where to buy

Situation about valve stems is the same as about nuts. It's up to you buy some common (rubber, price about $5) or some specilal (made of some metal, price about $15-$20) -> tyre valves are your choice where to buy
