ok, now i have another problem with my car. Just recently, evertime i turn the wheel slowly to the left, i hear a loud popping sound around the front passanger side tire. I have no idea what this can be, does anyone on here have an idea on what this problem is? if yall can help me, i would i appreciate it so i can go get this fixed ASAP. Thnx
More than likely the CV joints are going.

YoungSurvival.Org-Celica traded for.. 350z.. traded for Mazda5.. soccer mom!
do you have lowering springs, cuz it sounds like they might be binding or popping out of place.
It is definetly the cv joints.
I'm not sure about celicas but you might have to live with it
or get a new front axle. Not the whole thing but the half on the passenger side.
If its only when you turn and it start to get worse then it is definetly the cv joints.
Just wondering, how many miles you have on your car. I was wondering when these things might go out on celicas?
it could be the cv joints but it usually has like a clicking sound whenever you make turns. Ive had to replace both cv joints and i never had any popping sound.
it can also be that the top of your spring is binding with the top mounts...which is a common occurance..

get some bearing grease (really tacky stuff) and apply to the top of your spring where it meets the top perch this should allow the spring to twist freely under turns
also evilspeed.com has a bearing that you can insert there as well
yeah its definitly not the cv joints, cause it only pops once when turning the wheel completely to the left, the popping sound is not continously. i want to take it to a mechanic, but i dont want them to bull**** me (last time i had a suspension problem they said it was my struts and it turned out to be the sway bar end link). yeah i do have lowering springs, but i've had them for over a year now..you think after a year the springs might start doing this??
i got 169,000 miles on it (quite a bit huh?!)
thnx for the help guys

i think im guna third the binding of the spring. It use to happen to me right after i dropped it but now it doesnt happen. get some grease in there and c what happens.

if we are wrong then at least u did it and if it was the spring its cheaper then a cv joint
