I'm in the market for a car alarm.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows any good online car alarm stores?

I'm mainly looking at a two-way pager system ( IE: viper 791xv). Anyone know any deals currently?

The cheapest price i have seen in for 170 on amazon.

I highly reccomend a 2 way pager system, I got one and its great, got it from ebay (dont remember the brand on it, sorry.) but it was about $200.

i had an earlier model from this manufacturer - called Jazz - it was great - until a friend of mine accidently broke my remote -

this is a better version - and well worth the price in my opinion - i will be adding this later down the road - or unless they come out with a better one by then -

i love the automatic unlock - lock feature it has -- when you get close to the car it will automatically unlock and disarm the car - when you close the door , you can set it to lock and arm within 10-15 seconds . Love the long range too.

i'm mainly interested on online car alarm stores, I'm trying to stick with a main brand car alarm because i dont want to deal with anything that can go wrong, like false alarms and what not. I setting the budget for the unit its self at 200 bucks.

is it that small, pic kinda makes it look big, but 2.5 inches is not bad, might have to look into it.

i dont know much about how well it works though and i cant seem to find the range anywhere

I too am looking at the Viper 791XV, but I'd like to know if it is high priced to get it installed. Meaning how hard is it? I need one because of my sound system.

That prostar one is nice.... my problem is if i find an alarm around here im not sure how id install it, cuz i tried to install an alarm with a friend on his prelude..and it wasnt pretty. So installation is a concern for me too. But i like those features, id just want some little key chain thing though, i couldnt fit that, a cellphone and keys all in my pockets.
