I have to take my car into the shop tonight or tomorrow, probably tomorrow. I was putting on my teins, the front was easy, but my sway bar bolts with the allen key are stripped so I'm having my mechanic install the rears and fix my drivers side power window. I'm probably still going to make it, if I can shift around some hours with work

I'm not organizing the meet, but I'm sure it's cool. The more the better, plus I think some 240 guys are coming anyway.

I work in Monroville now. I'll stop at Hooter's after work tuesday. I don't think the celica will be out by then, but I'll come out to meet some new people. The celica is still hibernating.

this is true. but EVERY one has a 240sx with a hatch which is why i got a coupe and are obsessed with getting a sr20det swap, which i see as being pointless y go from a 2.4L to a 2.0L. makes no sense. but yea def count me in. its a s13 by the way. its a 1990 240sx coupe.

its a good swap and cheep rwd. there pretty quick for the money. Here in pgh I know of about 5 people who have bought 240s in the past 6 months and have already swapped them. The funny parts is every 240 I see is black heh. You can find the car for under 1000 the clip for 2000 and some converstion parts plus exhaust fmic.. your only at 4k for a high 13sec car..... thats not even right.

sr motors aren't cheap, a motor set is prob ~2k.
but that's all they really need.

still so fast for so cheap.

edit: oh yea, Jon got his Cha-kouki 240 done, so maybe he'll make this meet.

AH, my mechanic is busy, so I'm dropping my car off tuesday night after the meet to get that stuff taken care of. My car looks goofy as hell with lowering springs on just the front...

I'm ok. I've been so busy with school and work. I never get a chance to check this site out that often anymore. I haven't even driven the celica since the the last meet I went to.

I'm doing alright. I remember you. That show was a while ago. Yea I'm still with my girlfriend. It's almost 5 years now and counting.
