looking good. but even better if you get it to the fender and make it a cold air intake. but good! wink.gif
Yeah they used to have a cold air extension for that.. you should get it and let us know how it works out:)
did you take out the fender stuff and bottom air box, if not your not getting the cold air that flows thru the fender.
all i took out was the factory air box. is there something else i should take out? let me know guys
the bottom air box. you have to take off the lining under your car in order to remove it.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
its pretty simple.... just the normal unbolting stuff. i think they're all the same size bolts if i remember correctly. it was just hard for me cuz some of them were rusted stuck. its a lil easier if you raise your car a lil so you have more room to work.

years ago we used to have weekly posts about weapon R intakes, "which is better weapon R or Injen?"...LOL it's just funny I havn't heard that name for a while I had almost forgotten about them.
I have the same ones But my filter is a different colour, how do you like it ?
Injen is well well-known than weapon-r, but aem is better than injen.
i like my injen its loud but the injen is a longer peice than the weapon R
thanks alot guys and gals for all of the input. i did take out the other crap from the stock airbox like you guys said to. im not too sure what thatll do but i did it. thanks again for all of the help.
i used to have a short ram weapon R with that slinky type deal to make the air go directly to the filter. the best setup that i figured was cutting the heat shield in half and only having it cover the engine side of the filter. then i connected the tube/slinky (lol) and routed it next to my fog light. just make sure you keep that air filter clean because it'll get dirty real quick.

not too sure what it is that youre talking about(slinky thing). can you describe it to me?

isnt that slinky thing only with their "ram air" addition kit, im not sure though since i dont have one, my brother had one on his mx6 but took it off because the metal around the filter started to rust
yeah ive seen those but only when you buy the ram air kit. but thanks again for all of the help and comments guys and gals
