Power Enterprise Cam Controller - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #35054 2 posts Started by frosty
Hey, I found this cam controller for all toyotas with the vvt-i / vvtl-i . I've been reading a bit about it and it seems pretty good. I was just wondering if anyone here has either heard about it or are using it on the beams? I also curoiuse about it since my wifes new celica has vvt-i (sad that it's the 1zz-fe and not the 2zz-ge) No sites really specify if it's used on the 6gc with vvt-i but most say all toyotas with it can use it.

Also, what kind of hp gain do you think could come from it?

vvt-i is designed to generate a solid torque curve... so no... if put on a stock motor... you'll probably lose power. vvt-i is computer controlled and adjusts cam timing itself based on load, tps, etc... so it's very hard to out-do the computer. The only time this may be beneficial is when you're running performance camshafts and the computer can't quite get the proper timing for the cam...
