SS3 Splitters - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #35161 23 posts Started by alf15
Need a little help, I bought a 1996 GT4 and i want to put the SS3 front and rear spliters on the car. But i dont know where to buy them. Can some point me in the right direction?

Thanks
You might want to check with a member named chrisc. I think he sells replicas of the SS-III front and rear splitters.

New Toyota project coming soon...
Thanks for the help lads, but i have noticed that his splitters are a little different from the ss-3 splitters. The ss-3's seem to go around the front and rear more.

Any other places to get them or would i be better off going to a toyota parts dealer?
do you happen to have a picture as an example? im pretty sure the ones ChrisC sells are direct copies of the ss-3, but perhaps im wrong.

Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it...

You must be joking wink.gif , I have my splitters from chrisc too... no problem... I you want I'll give you two links. One to original splitters and second to splitters made by chrisc... You'll se that you will not see any difference biggrin.gif

No more replicas... This is evolution... This isSS-four:)________[Featured Celica of 6gc.net @ 2010]_________
Oh i see from the pics now why the ss-III splitters go further around the front bumper, i never noticed a there was a difference between the two bumpers.

Thanks for all the help lads...i gonna order a set of splitters soon

thumbsup.gif anyway if you'll decide to order original SS-III splitters, share with "toyota part numbers" here wink.gif

hey azian...you don't happen to have the part # for the trd rear extensions do you???
actually here's what i noticed... optional exterior parts are not in my epc (or maybe i just can't find 'em). the only parts i've found were parts that come stock on them..

i believe OEM (TRD) front, sides, and rear splitters were options as well as the front lip that doggy has in another thread. so unfortunately, i don't have the part numbers for the TRD-style splitters.

I was thinking of buying some of thoose for my car.
do they just use the original screw holes in the bumper, or do you gotta make new ones?
Will it look strange with just the front and rear extensions without the sideskirts?
They use the original screw holes in the bumper! It will look a bit strange but why don't you get and the sideskirts?

Face your fears, Live your dreams!!!
Money money money, must be funny.
hehe, how much would It roughly cost for front, rear splitters and skirts?
think I should maybe lower it first though. havent seen one with splitters and skirts without suspension drop.
Im actually looking for some oem front and rear bumper extensions. who can i buy them from?

I have splitters, skirts, and rear extensions without a drop, you can check the pics in my profile. It looks lower than stock.

We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it.
