Finally bought my 6GC! - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #35467 38 posts Started by CrasMack
Well, I've been hanging around the forum here for a few months and finally found the 6GC I was looking for. A 99 GT, rarely winter driven with extremely low mileage at a reputable dealer.

Since these suckers are a rarity up here in Canada, I guess I'll be making a trek halfway across North America for my Celica. Hope it's worth the drive/hassle I've been going through. Not to say the $$$ smile.gif

Here are some pics that were sent to me by the dealer. When I go get the car in a week or two, i'll upload my own.

I've only ever seen a couple on the Island and I don't think the people are really into their cars cause they're not maintained. I saw a few in Halifax when I was living there last year. Almost bought one then but decided to pay off some more bills.

I'd definitely be interested in an Atlantic Canada/New England meet sometime. Love the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
looks like mine in the interior, except those leather seats look clean, very weird that since its a GT it doesnt come with the gt-strut brace. nice find.
awesome car man! You'll love it smile.gif

The car is in Minnesota. Gonna fly down in the next few weeks and get it. I know what ya mean about the interior colour.. It is interesting... We'll see how clean I can keep it. Not too fussy on a car's interior. Black would've been better but gotta take what ya can get I guess.

As for the automatic, I kinda wanted a standard but not a big deal since I don't plan in racing it. Bought it more cause I like the look. Would like to do some modification but not sure what or when. I'm not car savvy but I could change to a manual transmission after a few years if I decide I wanna change it up.
Very nice!! How many miles and how much did ya pay??

These care are SOOOO nice looking in white. biggrin.gif
WOW, that car looks in mint condition. I have so much respect for someone that took care of their car.
if ur comin through toronto on the way back, let us know. Maybe get a mini meet goin on.
Very nice and clean! biggrin.gif

Valo, thanks for the offer. I think I'm going to be staying south of the border for the journey back though. Going to stop either in NYC for a couple of Mets games or in Boston to visit some friends.

Thanks again tho.
dont think this has been asked yet, but how much $$$ did you buy it for?

no rust at all under the car or on the body...i was impressed, cause i checked for that...anyway I did a new body/paint job like 2 years ago because of the little small dents here and there
awesome, i did too. mine was from ontario and just had tons of rust... soo much. so i got a whole new paint job, rust & dent removal, looks like new now!! smile.gif

btw.. great find on the car CrasMack!
Nice and clean,

like the white leather seats, very different.

which year was it that they stop putting the 4spoke stearing wheel and replaced it with the 3 spoke?
