I got my A/C line back on after installing the turbo.

i called around and they said it will cost $100+. mad.gif
to pull vac and charge it ..they said my car takes 2.5lbs

I wanna save some green.

If I go to wal-mart and get the recharge kit and some 134-a.

should everything work with out pulling vac?

I don't think theres much moisture in the system.

what about air pockets?

its a 95 corolla
Since the system has been open for an extended amount of time, to do it right would require replacing the reciever/drier then pulling a vacuum ( orrifice tube and accumulator should also be replaced if your system has these components.) If any moisture remains in the system when it mixes with the refrigerant it will create a corrosive acid that will eventually eat away the seals in the system and cause leaks.

In the long run it'll be cheaper this way... Trust me...
Better yet, trust google's search results:

BTW
2.5 lbs seems like a bit much. I think it's probably closer to 24-28 ounces but you should check the AC label on the underside of your hood or in the engine bay.
