Art you gotta come up here dude. Havent seen you since last year, and your car is absolutely awesome.
Try to make it up Saturday if you can, we'll be BBQ'ing and hanging out in the DWG all day and cruising, etc.


Unfortunately it appears that June 2nd I'm playing up in Bound Brook, so I don't think I'll be able to go to Englishtown that day. However I'll be at the other two days 100% thumbsup.gif

so im assuming we are all meeting up at Island Dragway around 6pm on fri (says its open 6-10pm that day)

heres some directions from the website for anyone whos too lazy to look them up biggrin.gif

From NYC: Rt 80 west to exit 19. Bottom of ramp make left. Go approximately 6 miles into Hackettstown, make a right onto Rt. 46 West (Main St.) and follow for approx. 7 miles. Entrance to the track will be on the right hand side, just past Cannonball's Go-Go.

From Phila./Trenton: Rt. 31 North to end. Right onto Rt. 46 East. Track is 6 miles on left, just past Nykun's General Store.

From Central Jersey: 78 west to Rt. 31 North. Rt. 31 North to end. Right onto Rt.46 East. Track is located 6 miles on left, just past Nykun's General Store.


then i was kind of hoping corey or jeff or someone would escort us to the hotel afterwards

Yea we should probably meet at least an hour or two before the track opens. If we shoot for 6pm people will show at around 7-7:30.....not going to mention any names.... biggrin.gif

We can even meet off of Route 80 or something since most of you are comming from points North and East, and then Jeff and I can lead the way to Island or something. Then from there we'll figure out food, hotel, etc.

I'll have to figure out if i can get outta work a lil early and come down for that.

nick was the one who was like "i need gas" after we just left an area with 10000 gas stations. Who doesnt mention that there low on gas then? And no one else was willing to lead, no one knew the area, so i decided to take charge. Sorry if u didnt like how i went about it, but i didnt see u offering to find our way back to the highway.

Tip for everybody- Come down with a full tank BEFORE you leave for your trip, have your own directions and itinerary just in case, and if you do follow somebody just be sure that they're familiar with the area and know where they're going.

I gotta go to work, when I get home I'll see what sort of interest is brewing over at MR2OC and NewCelica.org....I posted event bulletins on both sites.

I wasn't trying to be nasty BTW, just speaking the truth. Its always nice to be prepared and educated before leaving for a meet so that you can enjoy your trip to the fullest. Thats how I roll, fool. wink.gif


Theres a handful of people on MR2OC that are comming out for this, as well as a few guys from NewCelica.org but most of the latter will be meeting up with you guys on Sunday.

Bad News: 99% sure my car will not have her dent fixed or any of the parts put on by this meet. I'm very pissed of about it, but there is nothing I can do. If there was some way for me to pull the dent out myself and fill it just enough to get the splitters on then I would be fine. As far as I know the shop painted everything already, the only thing that is "up in the air" is installing the skirts and the splitters, I know other people have done it themselves, but I dont think i can. (if u guys wanna come up here and help me that would be great wink.gif wink.gif )
So i'm in a crappy mood now.
The good news: I'm still comming even if my car will be fugly as usual.

ok now that LSP has happend, theres 3weeks of no meets.......im gonna go through withdrawl....lol need my 6gc meets lol cant wait to see everyone there.

I was hoping I could make a meet out there this year.
I thought I would have a month rent free after buying the
house. Not so. I can't wait for the pics from this one.
