Does anyone know a good place to get these shims? I gave Toyota World a call and would take 8-10 weeks to be delivered. Maybe someone in Europe/Japan could help out

How many valve shims/what thickness do you need?
I already made this job for a usa mr2 swapper, and you'll have to wait a pair of weeks...

you could also try jeff @ toyotaworld.com , he can get any 3rd gen parts you need, dont know what the wait time will be tho.

They are tiny round disks that go at the top of the valve stem, but under the tappets in the head. They are different in thickness depending on the lenth of the valve or the clearance needed for the cam lobe

I got my Timing belt and Gasket Set from Jeff a while back, He said he could get the shims but it would be 8-10 weeks to get them.

I did luck out and was able to find some shims. Drove a couple hours away, but I have them now.
