just another post about how you came about choosing your screen name.



some are pretty self-explanitory..names like OrangeCelicaGT, SeattleChick78 are easy to guess. others like overbasher645, h438467fg0w need interpretation. what is the story behind yours?



mine came about when we played Microprose's GrandPrix 2 F1 race simulator. my good friend Mario had no idea how to brake into turns. just fly through like a bat outta hell and make up the time on the next straight-- that was his motto. i kept telling him to brake, then accelerate out of the apex of the turn "accélère du virage!". he would usually tell me to shutup and taunt me "accélère du virage, accélère du virage, accélère du virage!!" when i was driving. anyway it litteraly means: to accelerate out of a turn. change the spelling and you have a nifty sceen name and player name for racing games-- Axel R duVirage.



BTW if its all looks like French to you you're right. good old fashioned 17th century acadian french, not that pretentious parisian French.

oh god, idk ive had this same name since forever, like sn on aim, and other things. Probally since i was 11 or 12. New Jersey Devils were and still are my favorite hockey team, hockeys my favorite sport. Den like a den of evil i guess, and maybe something good happend in 1997 for me idk.

i was watching a coke commercial and it was when they had some online coke game or something and this guy was doing a "cribs" at his mom's house and his screen name was delux247. well he goes outside to show them his car which was like a corolla and his old nieghbor says "hi johny" and then the guy says "its delux son, delux"

Lew being my last name and FX because i do graphic design so LewFX..my aim sn is JSL242 meaning my initials and i went 2 for 2 in my senior year of high school baseball, yep batted 1,000. not bad for a benchwarmer and being under 5' back then!

lol lets see i had just bought socom the original, I was a still living in new york (jamaica,queens never forget!)
at the time and i was about to go online when i was trying to figure out a screen name, Anyways i was also listening to krock at the time even though i didnt really like the song to much saliva's click click boom was playing and well usually in games i do use grenades alot i just replaced the i with a y to create CLYCK it was different and noone else would think of it so, since then i had always used this for everything.

for the clarity I had my name WAAAAYYYY before that video game bloodrayne. I actually took the name from the Dreamcast Video game "tokyo extreme racer" one of the cars you raced was called bloodrain, so i took it.

well what can i say, haha nickname from playing basketball, riding a bike, i had it before tearing up the streetz with my car but it transfered over haha, and xbox live i needed a cool gamertag so i used this, and it stuck ever since, i got this name on myspace, xbox live, and aim, so that means i have this name over half the people in the world haha, plus when u do stuff like this...

Mine is because i am really tall so my friends call me beast or sasquatch. So instead of it being insulting i took it as my own. hence the name beastman. BTW im about 6'5"

Mynzeyes (pronounced "mines eyes")= derived from "mind's eye". The "third eye".

Good Tool song about it, to related this to the new Tool topic. Anyway, it's used to refer to an ability to "see" things in your mind. Such as being able to see something in your mind, and being able to put it onto paper. Also refers to memory and imagination. Some references use it to refer to things involving religion, but I don't roll like that. I keep things logical.
