I have a friend that has a 94 celica st automatic. He wants to have a 3sgte swap done to his car, but he doesn't want to do it himself. He is in Ohio, but i just moved to California, so i can't really help him out. Is there anyone in Ohio or around him that anyone knows of that will do the swap for him. He just wants it done. Is there a shop or anyone that will track down a 3sgte, a 5 speed fwd tranny, and all the neccesary parts? He just wants to be able to drop his car off and pick it up later with the swap complete. Can anyone help?

He can probably get with Dr. Tweak and send his car to him. Tweak has a shop where he can do swaps and has done a few for people on this site. Im not too sure where he is located, but I would say have him do it, he knows what he is doing.
I know of good shops in Kentucky and Illinois but not Ohio, sorry.

depends on where he is in Ohio, i could refer him to the shop that did most of my swap, including re-wiring the entire harness...again. he'd probably have to find his own clip though. and after the experience with my swap, i can't guarantee they'd even want to do it. but if he got an alltrac clip, you might be able to convince them.
