Today my girlfriend and I went down to the store. When we came out there was a guy standing in front of my car. I walked over and he said

"Hey is.. is this a uh.. a s.ss.ss..supra?"
"No, it's a Celica"
"Oh, it looks amazing, you have done a good job"
"Thank you"


Then the second time was over at Blockbuster. This guy rolled down his window and asked:

"Hey, excuse me. What year is this?"
"It's a 95"
-stunned look- "...Wow, you.... you have done an AMAZING job!"
"Thanks!"

we got in the car and my girlfriend says "wow, twice in one day. That doesn't happen often"

awhile ago some 11 year old kind came up as i was putting stuff in the back and said"whoa how much did that supra cost?" i laught but it was cool . i told him it wasn't but he liked it anyway.

lol the very first day i got my 6gc, i pulled up next to some old guy and he was like cool racecar, and i was like huh? oh yea lol

I get them all the time -_-. I've had 2 older men tell me that my car looks like a 2002 model car and I've even had others around my age say "nice ride doesn't look like a celica at all". I've even passed a guy, as soon as he sees my car, he starts dancing and points at it. All I thought was "Man he dances funny, lol"

BTW I'm 22

one day i stopped at a gas station to pick up some stogies..some guy was pointing to my 6gc and was like "what u put in that thing?..its a pure beauty".......at a pool hall this buncha ricers (civics with BIG alum wing) and one girl came up and say "wow, that supra looks tight" i replied "its a celica"...she said "wow, that looks friggin sweet, can i get a ride??"....too bad my wife was with me or else i would've given her one..LoLs...jk....

gettin compliments on our hard work is cool not to mention comforting...

when my extended family comes over for holidays (aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.) They always tell me i have a nice car and they always think i have just boughten it. THey never remember its the same car ive had for a year, maybe its because im always trying to improve it and make it cleaner and such..

the other day after i washed it up nice and put my rims back on i was going down a street and some kids riding bikes yelled as i drove by "nice car!!" that made my day.

I'd have to say the best one so far was pulling out of the school parking lot and the class president stopped next to me in a beaten up volvo wagon and asked how i could affford such a nice car. I told her i worked all summer for it.. I didn't want to mention that i only paid 2g and it was a 94

yeah very first day i got it home , a few streets from mine a bunch of kids stopped , stared and shouted " wooo nice car" - knew then i had somethin good ........

I was at Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago, some girl just walked up while was in the car and just about screamed "your car is beautiful". Kinda odd she was that excited but oh well.

Dang, My 6gc is always getting complimented!

Out of all of em', my vert probably got the most attention.....it was flashy, super shiny white, sick rims, nice ALL black leather int....and of course the ICE!(tv's system lights lol)................BUT then again, I have only driven the GT2 about 4 times around my neighborhood:D:D

ive been asked two times if I won at the lottery for owning such a car LOL

also got lot of "nice supra!" comments..and a lot of people dont believe me when I tell them it`s a 11 years old car

Getting comments and having people always looking at you when you are driving is such a great feeling. My favorite question that I got from a group of a couple of teenagers was "What kind of engine you have in that Supra?". I did the typical, its not a supra its a celica...and right now the engine is useless (lol thats the part that I think but don't add in!)

I got two on friday. They were both on my convertible. The first one made my month... We had just left wendy's and were getting in our car when these two guys pull up in a jaguar. They got out and said i had a really nice car, and wanted to know what it was. Then that night these two guys on a bicycles yelled out "nice car" and ofcourse i yelled back "nice bikes"....

I used to get so many compliments on the celi. But my favorite thing now is leaving the bar when everyone is in the parking lot. I just roll through with the t-tops off on the mr2 and let the BOV go off. Its funny to see everyones head turn.

I get one just about everyday whether its about the car as a whole or certain parts on the car.

Most recently i was at a Scion meet and we were kicking it in Krispy Kreme when some guy walks past the table and points at me and says "I KNOW YOU!" and im like huh? and he was so excited to tell me that he met me 2 years ago and whatnot. It was too funny!

I got a compliment yesterday when I was leaving work...

I was just puting the top down, and some random dude walks up and he stares at my car and then watches the top go down, and then once it was down, he chuckles, and points to my car saying...

"Okay... Im SO jealous now... Lucky..." then walked away...

My Celi has dings all over, missing the front fender plastics, curb-rashed rims, damaged hood, no sunroof, stained, peeling paint...and it's still a crowd pleaser. For some reason, people don't notice all those defects. It doesn't matter if I'm doing 5 MPH where there's a crowd or if I vent the BOV a bit...I still get those "OMG...a Supra..." look. Some dude told me, "Seis en linea?" which translates to "inline six". I was like, "No...inline four". On the road, I barely get people wanting to start something...and those few brave ones, even with faster cars, change their mind when I roll besides them and slowly build and release boost. Also, people don't believe it's a 12 year old car. Anyway, post more stuff, peeps, it's fun to read your stories!

My little cousin who is 13 thinks my car is hot. It makes me smile considering the fact that she's a person who never pays attention to details and doesn't give a crap about cars. She reminds me of myself when I was 13.

On my way home from work on Friday, some blonde chick and her friend in a hooked up convertible eclipse tried to race me. I ignored her cuz I didn't wanna look stupid showing how SLOW my car REALLY is.

the other day some chick in a 94-99 mz6 black took a pic of my car with her phone while i was pulling out of a parking lot, so i slowed down so she could catch all of the beautifullness

Most people have never noticed a 6th gen celica before. Some even think its a Supra. Congrats on the compliments, thats awesome.

I went to drop my sister to work ( she works at a local mall ) so on my way back my brother noticed that three hot blondies were looking at my car, so when I looked the one that was driving waved her hand and ask me to call her . the bad side of this is that I was in the middle of the traffic and she was going the other way so I couldn't turn around to get the number but still gave me another reason to love my car
