man that look great...nice work and yeah exhaust looks sexy!!!
after driving around for a few days, i must say that a 3in downpipe and exhaust is a MUST for any swaper. the car fells SOOO Much better then it ever has before. it pulls really hard in every gear and the boost builds up with almost no lag.

also, my new kumho asx tires are awesome. i was flooring it in 1st and 2nd and didnt loose any traction at all with them! before i used to spin tires in those gears like crazy.

im really happy with my car right now. its exactly what i always wanted from it. it has great ride quality from the bigger tires, good traction, and lots of power ! it just feels so well balanced.

edit: not to mention it looks AMAZING wink.gif

well, they are not the greatest trires in the world, but they do a good job for the price. if you have more money ,definetly buy something better.

and again i'll say congrats smile.gif lucky

but seeing this thread title is just ASKING for a 6gc girl to post in OT...ya know
WOW, the exhaust place did not paint it? ...or at least take the stickers off the piping for you! You better paint that thing real fast or it will be totally rust in days! I still think you shoulda bought my 3" setup so you could have kept funds within 6GC people. My welds are way prettier. HAHA!
Since i did not make your setup i am gonna have to say i dont like it.

thank dave, glad you love my exhaust...lol

i tired to have you do mine, but there were 2 problems.... 1. you didnt really seem like you wanted to deal with UPS shipping, or try to find out the exact shipping rate. 2. you didnt have my muffler at your house to work on, so i would have to ship that out to you in order to do the job.

i do agrree.... the guy did some sloppy welds, but over all im happy with the job he did. the exhaust sounds awesome and really freed up a lot of power that was restricted by my old exhaust.

The reason i did not want to mess with shipping quotes for you was because it would have been cheaper for you to just drive out here ... and you did not want to do that. shipping cost suck for exhaust and i am working on ways to get that cost down but it has not happened yet.

ooooooooooo that is sexy Art

kindasad.gif it would've been nice if the mod who deleted my post could've at least PM me their reason kindasad.gif

nice exhaust, i guess.... rolleyes.gif
that piping looks exactly identical to mine, except my guy painted the last 3feet black. I really like, it looks good Lagos
This is pretty much how I am going to make mine. I have the same muffler.
The only thing I am wondering is once I put the engine and started up, how am I going to get it to the muffler shop. It would be too damn loud.
would the car even run?
car will run just fine. it will just be loud. thats how all of us got our cars to the exhaust shop.

Looks pretty good. Needs some ceramic coating before the salt hits the roads.

edit. I see this is old. Did you get it ceramic coated?

never coated or painted it. its been on for close to a year and has zero rust on it.

My mild steel exhaust rusted out in two winters. Then, I went stainless.

naw, you can get a least 4-5yrs out of them. a lot of it depends on where you live and how often it snows. i already went through one winter with mine, and i really doubt it will rust to all hell in the next 2-3months, when it has zero rust on it now.

I am not debating - just reporting my experience.
