what are you 7afe and 5sfe guys running? whats taking so long? prove me wrong guys, when i first joined this forum i was expecting you guys to be somewhat 'addicted to speed', but i guess not everyone are (street) racers?

lol you cant call celica owners "speed addicts" thats like calling a man with no teeth a gum lover...(lame i know). Anyways, give me about a month or so, and ill have some times for ya.

Not a 1/4 time but in autocross last weekend I pulled a 70.69 with no penalties at Packwood (scca solo track) I add a link to the results page when they upload the scores, I think I placed 2nd in my class with that time. 1st was a high 68 I think.

hey presure2 what was that other car that ran 11.3???well i'm planning on going to the track next week and tomorrow i'm scheduling a dyno run which would be approx. two weeks from now(or at least that's what the guy a motor sports dynamics told me)....oh yeah i have a 5s n/a with some light mods...wish me luck...

edit: forgot to mention i'm just planning to run high 16's ...don't really want to get my hopes up too high..

the car that ran an 11.3 was a highly modified (Street legal) Grand National running drag radials...crazy ****, there is a video in the DWG 06 meet thread of that run...its nuts

They just built a new drag strip (and drift course ) right by my house. it's not open yet though, they're getting the insurance and everything for it, and there is a guy who lives close-by who is fighting it because of noise. so it may not open at all... but if/when it does, I'll get a slip for you of a n/a 5s with light mods.

but I got all new shocks/sturts and new Toyo Proxies so I should be way better then my last race (I placed 2nd in) sept now I got some serious cars to go against, I hope the drives are crap, I know the 350z driver will spin it atleast onces (actualy I bet all the RWD guys will spin it atleast once. because they always do)

also anyone close enough to bremerton (were the race is) should come check it out and even race, the NOV classes are open to anyone just gata pay the $35 fee and have your car pass inspection (means nothing can be lose in the car and a few other things) its fun, I'll be there all day from the morning to watch the cars, then later in the day when I start racing.

went to the track yesterday and ran for the first time...best time 16.384


this was actually my last/best run ...i ran five times and mis-shift three times lol...my goal was just to get at least 16.9 and that's what i got my first run and mis shifted in third so i was happy...
mods: cai, headers, cat back and with 207k on the odometer lol...
