What kind of gas mileage should I expect from a 1995 GT (2.2L engine)
with automatic transmission - in real life?

sheet that came with my car from dealer (94 Gt Auto) says 23 city 30 highway. I drive her pretty hard sometimes and still see mid/high twenties.

for japan made celica ss3 beams engine(1998) anybody knows what shall i expect?
I drive mine hard at stoplights and through town, but i do a lot of freeway driving too.. I usually get around 25 - 31.. 31 was the highest i've seen.

strangely enough, i get better gas mileage city driving than on the highway, because in the city i never go above 3k rpms, mostly staying between 2,400-2,700 rpms in fourth or fifth gear, but on the highway going 70-75+ mph in fifth gear, I stay right on the 3.1-3.2k rpm, and i get about 30 mpg driving within city limits

i think he's talking about the summer-formula gas. there are two formulas of fuel: summer and winter. most pump stations now have the summer fomula in their tanks. i suppose this fuel is more "watered down"
