My situation is i have a beams motor, that i need to get wired using my stock GT harness. Instead of getting my harnesses wired, can i just go with a e manage ECU and use the stock beams harness? Also, is something like a greddy e manage ECU universal?

a greddy emanage is a piggy back . you cant just use that to run your motor.

you need a stand alone ecu for what your planing to do . hydra nemesis or aem make 2 popular ones. even then, you still need to rewire a lot of stuff.

i am planning on using the emanage ultimate also -- on the 3s -- yep its a piggy back -- for a daily driver the emanage it more than enough --

you dont need an emanage on a 3s. the 3sge or 3sTe are facotry motors and should run off their stock ecu's.

the only time you might want to use something like an emange, is if you upgrade the turbo and the injectors, and want to get some type of piggback to help you retune the car for the new fuel and air thats going in .
