So what happened? It's been "To Be Continued" since 2004?

woot.gif thats like my other celica. But boo. There are better swaps done to one of them. If you think thats impressive, try having a bunch of highschool kids throwing a 318 into a Plymoth Sundance. Thats right..FWD to RWD conversion, auto to 5spd, coustom floor pans, suspention, breaks, diff mounting and making it look stock other than the back end is jacked up a bit. That was one of my projects in Grade 11..the car runs and all, just the kids who were workin on it when i was in grade 12 decided to take it for a rip, took it around a corner to hard and tryed to get it sideways, bent part of the suspention.

Personaly, with my celica like that..im either gonna go with a 1st gen 3sgte (cuz you can get one for $400 here, no harness, ecu, etc), get a harness for like $250, then use one of my buddies AEM piggy back systems. Theres a guy on classic celicas who has a 81 2nd gen with a S2k motor in it.

This isn't a 6th gen, but I thought some of you would still appreciate this:

I like a variety of drivetrain choices. I wonder if they ever completed the project? Last entry was August '04.
The author mentions many options make power... but all the photos show a stock mopar engine of unknown vintage. Most likely a low compression engine without the vast potential that is mentioned. The quote of 400 BHP make require more money than cam, pistons and cylinder head porting. The power into the thousands "Weiland two stage supercharger, 50psi boost " is not even something to take seriously rolleyes.gif
The bottom end of stock high mileage motor wouldn't last long with 400 bhp not mention the other silly claims.

But it's a fun look .

I saw another related vid.V8 Celica vid.
It's just a short clip basically with a lot of smoke.
A few modifactions could really work: Sticky street compound tires and wheel tubs would make for good launches and nice top end potential. tongue.gif
