Not a hater... - 6G Celicas Forums

All,

I recently wrote a post describing a blue hatch-7thgen celli conversion. Now, i'm more into the whole family aspect of car enthusiasts rather than the whole clique aspect. Although it was pretty hideous, one can't overlook the time and effort put into that 4-banger. These things do take a lot of work am i'm definitly not one to bash or start a group-bashing. I apologize to anyone who's feelings I may have hurt. As much as I like hatches, and as much as I semi-like 7th Gen Cellis(gt-s smile.gif). Last but not least my bad to Coomer, i'm sure there are better things to do than deal with this b/s. Cheers.

no one on this site understands how people can put a lot of money into something other than a celica. if you put a supra front end on a celica, it's nice. if you put s2000 tails on a celica, it's nice. if you put a different front, or tails on a honda, it's rice. subtle difference. it's sad really.

Modding is modding, and having enthusiasm and pride for your car is awesome. Yes we have celicas that are modded, but I am also a member of a forum where the average age of the momebers is probably 18 and alot of them drive 1litre/1.2litre clios and corsas, but my car is respected as something that the others 'will have something like when they get a bit older', one guy hasn't done much to his corsa and was asking me how he could fasten on his mud flaps (which tbh I thought were a bit tacky) but then I remembered back to my youth and the stupid stuff I have done to my other cars (I had bullet hole stickers on my first car haha) and then I felt proud that he chose me to get his advice from. I told him how I would do it if it was mine and he was chuffed that someone made him realise that it was fairly easy and had given him the confidence to do it for himself.

Anyway, to sum it up, it shouldn't matter what car people decide to modify, its the heart and passion that they have put into it that should gain them respect from others, not how much money they have spent on it!!

LOL the bullet holes...

thats ghetto, lol overhere i see some cars with bullet holes and they are either really good stickers or real! but yeah

about that honda..... it dosent look that bad, but it dosent look that good either
